Before placing a ceramic implant, we gather three essential pieces of information:

• A CBCT (3D X-ray) to evaluate your bone, neighboring teeth, nerves, and other important anatomical structures.

• A digital impression of your teeth to create an accurate 3D model of your mouth.

• A surgical impression when needed, depending on the specific case and treatment plan.

These records allow us to carefully evaluate your anatomy and plan your treatment before surgery ever begins.

A Team Approach to Planning

For our ceramic implant cases, we work closely with the CeraRoot® team, whose experience with ceramic implant planning is an important part of the process.

Using your CBCT, digital impressions, and other clinical records, they collaborate with us to help design a customized surgical guide and review the implant plan before surgery.

This collaborative planning allows us to evaluate important decisions in advance, including:

• The ideal implant size.

• The planned position and angulation.

• The restorative outcome.

• Whether any adjustments are needed before surgery.
